Specialized, one-on-one attention
No dog is beyond rehabilitation, and we will tailor a program to help your dog be a better behaved companion. Your dog will stay with us for the entire duration of this intensive immersion training.We pride ourselves on boutique-style, specialized, one-on-one attention paid to each individual dog and situation. By comparison to the rest of the industry, which tends to do a higher volume of dogs and longer programs, our very unique approach to training and rehabilitation allows us to go further with your dog in less time and create transformations unavailable elsewhere. While your dog is working with us, we will have homework for you to learn new techniques of becoming the leader in your relationship with your dog. state-of-the-art, communication-style E-Collar training.
We specialize in state-of-the-art, low-level, communication-style E-Collar training. Our E-Collar program is like nothing you’ve ever seen, and is nothing like the E-Collar training of old. Contemporary E-Collar Training utilizes the softest, most gentle remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches to dog training available. In the Board and Train Program, we address a variety of unwanted behaviors:
- Dog-to-Dog Aggression and/or Aggression Towards Humans
- Food and/or Resource Guarding
- Separation Anxiety and Severe Fear Issues
- Reactive On-Leash
- Rushing out open doors
- Excitability - jumping on you or guests
The program also covers the basic commands of Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Heel, Come/Recall, Crate Training, Treadmill Training, Structured Walking On-leash, Waiting For Food, and Waiting at Thresholds like doors or gates. If you'd like us to teach your dog to swim for exercise during the summer months, ask for details!
consultation and training sessions with owners
Training you and your family is as important as training your dog. We want to make sure you are equipped with the proper techniques to ensure a lifetime of confidence, leadership, and happiness with your canine family member.
The Board and Train Program includes one 30-minute consultation at our facility upon drop-off. We'll review what behavior modification(s) is most important to you, and let you know what your dog can expect during the training.
At the halfway mark (after one week), we'll invite you back to our facility for a 90-minute progress update. You'll be able to visit with your dog and to see and begin to understand the techniques she's been taught thus far. This may include a trip to Home Depot, PetSmart, or a local dog park to demonstrate the socialization skills or anti-anxiety training used.
Upon completion and graduation from the program, we'll have two one-hour sessions to make sure you're prepared to follow through and understand how to use the training philosophy, tools and techniques going forward. One or both of these sessions can be conducted in your home. We also offer email and phone support after the program is complete!
